A free Chrome extension for x.com

A copied contract address is made to pass at a glance.

Garm is a free Chrome extension for x.com. It puts a short fact beside every Solana CA as you scroll, folds the paid-shill replies around it, and warns you when the coin page you open isn't the CA the post wrote.

Rules run on your device, about a millisecond per post. No sign-up, no X login, no AI.

Behind this page: base58, the alphabet every Solana address is written in. As the field is read, rows decode into addresses, and copies of a real CA show in red.

FactsGrey, amber, red. Each opens to show where it came from.

Each Solana contract address gets a short fact, coloured by how much it matters.

Grey is a fact. Amber is a tell. Red is a clear mismatch. Every fact opens to show where it came from, and whether it was checked on your device or looked up.

There is no green. Garm never calls a coin safe. It says what it found and leaves the decision to you.

Top walletPublic on-chain data. Never your wallet.

When a coin's top wallet has been here before, the post says so.

Garm looks at a coin's largest holders. If one of them was also a top wallet of earlier coins that all fell 90% or more from their peak, the post gets a red stamp with the coin and the drop.

Three earlier coins, RUGGO down 97.4%, PEPEX down 94.1% and MOODY down 99.0% from peak, share one top wallet, 8fT2…, which is also a top wallet of this coin. RUGGO−97.4% from peak PEPEX−94.1% from peak MOODY−99.0% from peak top wallet 8fT2… this coin8xZb…pump

GuardReads the address in the tab. Nothing else on the page.

The coin page you open is checked against the CA the post wrote.

Click a chart link in a post and Garm keeps the CA that post wrote. When the coin page opens, it compares the address in the tab. If they differ, the toolbar badge turns red, a notification names the post, and the side panel shows both addresses. It never draws on the trading site and never touches your wallet.

PrivacyLocal-only mode makes no network requests at all.

Garm's server sees contract addresses and a random install id. Nothing else.

No account, no sign-in, no ads and no telemetry by default. The settings page keeps a log of every request Garm sends to its API, so you can check this page against it.

Questions

Every rule's exact wording is on the rules page.

Does Garm touch my wallet?

No. It never connects a wallet, never asks you to sign anything and has no buy or swap button. Led you here is optional: you paste a public address, and Garm reads its buys from the Solana RPC you chose, on your device.

Will it tell me a coin is safe?

No. Garm never shows green and never says safe. It states what it found, and you decide what to do with it.

Does it call people scammers?

No. A fold names the pattern it matched, like "caller ad: gain brag + TG funnel". Facts describe posts, coins and wallets, not people.

Does it slow X down?

No. The rules run on your device, about a millisecond of work per post. Most folds show before any lookup returns, and nothing waits on Garm's server to show you a post.

Does it use AI?

No. The rules are fixed, so the same post with the same data gets the same result on every install. Only live numbers, like a market cap reading, change, and each carries its time.

Does it change the trading sites?

No. On a coin page Garm only reads the address in the tab. Warnings show as the toolbar badge, the side panel and a system notification.

Which browsers?

Chrome, and Chromium browsers like Brave, Arc and Edge, on desktop x.com. The X phone app doesn't take extensions.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Every feature ships to everyone, with no sign-in and nothing to unlock.
